Open Task Manager On Mac Task ManagerMac Task Manager: Yes MAC has a Taskmanager but it is called as Activity Monitor in MAC, In Windows, we can open Task Manager by just clicking CLRLALTDELETE, But for MAC there is another process to open Activity Monitor.Note: Remember that the Mac Task Manager is called as an Activity Monitor. How to Access Activity Monitor in MAC: You can access Activity Monitor mainly in two ways: 1. Go to Applications then Utilities and you can find the shortcut for Activity Monitor right there. Another shortest way is to open spotlight and type there you can easily get access to Mac Task Manager that means Activity monitor. Killing a Process: After opening the Activity Monitor just like windows you can observe the process which are running in the background now the thing is if you want to stop or kill any process just right-click on that process and tap on Quit if the application does not respond tap on force quit isnt that easy. Understanding Activity Monitor: Just like Windows task manager, Activity monitor also shows the heartbeat of your PC there are many tabs included in it which shows different types of data. CPU Tab: In this tab, you can observe all the process that effect or slowdowns the system. In this tab, you can even sort the CPU percentage used by each process. In the below of this process, there will be some in-depth data with graphs, The user data states that the percentage of the CPU that currently used by the apps you currently opened, and the idle option states that the percentage of CPU capability that not being used. And at the bottom, you can observe more details about memory such as physical memory, used memory, cached files and a lot more you can even observe the memory pressure within a graph, the green line indicates the available memory resources then the Yellow line indicates that CPU storage is available but are being tasked by memory management process and finally red line indicates that CPU storage is not available but using your startup drive for memory. Energy Tab: This energy tab indicates about overall energy and energy utilized by each process. It mainly indicates the details about the Energy Impact, details about the graphics card and lot more about the battery details. Disk Tab: This tab contains all the details about the disk information about the disk, Literally, it indicates the data about how many times that your mac access your disk to read and write data. To view the information about the disk in the dock you need to click on View Dock Icon Show Disk activity. Network Tab: Coming on to the list this is the last tab and this tab indicates how much data your Mac is sending or receiving. Using this tab you can easily find which process is sending more data and you can stop it.
